How vascular internist Ilse Schrover improved her conversations

Keyshot from the Divi Pregnancy Diabetes (Diabetes Gravidarum)
Since using Divi's
"The Diabetes Gravidarum Divi has been used extensively with us for several months. In addition, the Divi about thrombosis has also been in use recently and I am very happy with that too. Thrombosis is a subject about which I now always have to explain a lot," said Ilse Schrover.
"I notice that my work is changing more and more through the use of Divis. The biggest difference I notice is that women with gestational diabetes know better what's going on with them before the interview" says Ilse. After seeing the Divi, patients see the gynecologist first and then the internist. "Because of the Divi, with some of the women I can give less explanation when I notice that they already understand it well. They also ask different questions than before. I really like that we can now have a different conversation than the general 'standard explanation' I was used to."

"Patients are better prepared after seeing the Divi. I really like that it allows me to have a different conversation with them now than the general explanations I was used to."

Comments from patients
Ilse hears from patients that they like the fact that they can prepare themselves well. Especially the visual aspect clarifies a lot. "I think it is of added value for patients that they can see a video beforehand and go through the images with additional information, and of course also that everything can be easily found again. Moreover, it is nice that there is more room for personal questions in the interview."
Divis developed together
"During the development of the Divis, I really enjoyed seeing that in two or three conversations and feedback, you see the whole Divi develop and it's completely designed to your liking." Ilse finds the Divis much clearer and livelier for patients than the leaflets used previously. "It fits very well with today's times when everything can be found on cell phones. Ideal that it can be done this way!"
