About this Divi

People with epilepsy are often given medication to stop seizures. In some people this does not work enough and therefore they still have many seizures. It is then possible to get a Nervus Vagus Stimulator (NVS). With an NVS, patients may have fewer seizures or they may be less severe.

In this Divi, we explain what the NVS is and how it works. They will also be given information about placing the NVS, setting it up, side effects and using the accompanying magnet.
