In a neuropsychological examination, the neuropsychologist looks at the different areas of the brain and how they work. The reason for the examination might be a brain disease such as dementia, or a brain injury from an accident, for example. The neuropsychological examination usually consists of an interview with the neuropsychologist and an examination with tests and questionnaires.
