About this Divi

Vulnerability can be compared to a block tower. When we are young and healthy, this tower is solid. As we get older, we become more vulnerable and the tower is less sturdy. Circumstances, such as hospitalization, a fall or the loss of a loved one, can cause the tower to topple. This can leave an elderly person confused or suddenly in need of much more help.

The Divi "coping with vulnerability" explains what vulnerability is with the metaphor of a block tower. In addition, the Divi pays much attention to what older people can do to avoid being vulnerable. The Divi is practical and is therefore good to use in the Geriatrics Department, for example.
