About this Divi

Spinal anesthesia, also known as an epidural, is a method of anesthesia that numbs the lower body. The patient receives an injection in the back, which numbs the legs and lower torso.

In the Divi, the patient is explained how to prepare for a procedure with spinal anesthesia at home. Then, the preparation for the anesthesia in the hospital is explained. Finally, an animation explains how the anesthesia works.
