Indiveo joins Flywheel

Flywheel is a partnership between many different parties to accelerate digital transformation in healthcare. An ambition to which we are already contributing and will increasingly do so.

Flywheel - Digital transformation in healthcare

Vliegwiel is an initiative of Patiëntenfederatie Nederland and consists of patients (representatives), care providers, health insurers and suppliers. Together they want more people to experience the benefits of good digital care. The Vliegwiel coalition develops practical tools, supports their implementation and shares knowledge.

Ambition and goals

The ambition of Flywheel is that each patient can choose a form of telehealth that suits him or her. Tele-monitoring is the umbrella term for telemonitoring and tele-education. Telemonitoring literally means remotely ('tele') following and guiding patients ('monitoring') by using high-quality and successful applications.

One of the coalition's concrete goals is for 100% of hospitals to offer telehealth to at least one patient group with a redesigned hybrid care pathway. In other words, care at the patient's convenience. All concrete goals of the Flywheel Coalition can be found on learning networkdigitalcare.nl.

Indiveo contributes to remote care

More and more hospitals and healthcare organizations are choosing to use Indiveo to inform patients remotely about examinations, pathologies and treatments. With the understandable information, patients are better informed and do not have to go to the hospital for this. Indiveo information is viewed at home, at leisure and as often as necessary, by patients and their loved ones. Because Indiveo information is integrated into Chipsoft HiX and BeterDichtbij, for example, healthcare providers can continue to use their usual programs and spend less time repetitively explaining standard medical information. Indiveo information can also be added to telehealth tools (e.g., Luscii, Sananet, Philips).

We are excited about joining the coalition because it means we are together affirming the future of digital care, entirely in line with our vision. Together we will continue our unabated commitment to better care at a distance for all patients.
