Indiveo's accessible patient information is now available from the BeterDichtbij platform. Patients receiving care from the doctor or nurse can receive accessible, medical information from Indiveo through the BeterDichtbij platform. "Several hospitals asked us if this was possible. Thanks to fast switching, we were able to make this happen," said Sander Bijl, operational director of BeterDichtbij.

It works simply: if a doctor or other healthcare provider wants to share one of the 185 understandable visual information Divis with the patient, he can easily add it to the message for the patient via the BeterDichtbij platform. Thus, the patient receives a message sent on their own phone, including a link to Indiveo's 'Divi'. In the BeterDichtbij environment, a Divi can be added to a fixed subject by default. For example, when an appointment is made for a medical procedure, the explanation of that procedure can be sent automatically. In this way, the patient always has the right information at the right time. This information is always sent securely and encrypted. 

Accessible information for patients

Patients should always have access to reliable information about their examination, disease or treatment. Receiving information from their own healthcare provider at the right time is therefore very important. 'BeterDichtbij is a reliable partner to pursue a common goal: to share understandable information about illness and health with patients in an accessible way. Available to all

All Frisian hospitals are already using Indiveo for their patients and more and more hospitals in the Netherlands are joining because of the benefits for patients and caregivers. Ralph Koppers says: "BeterDichtbij is a platform that can be easily deployed by all healthcare providers and, like Indiveo, an initiative by and for healthcare. Patients and healthcare institutions benefit from this collaboration. BeterDichtbij is available throughout the Netherlands and has a large number of users."  

In addition to BeterDichtbij, Indiveo's information will be integrated into the hospitals' "own patient environment" and several medical apps.
