Positive reactions to OLVG's MDL clinic

Replacing outdated (paper) patient information with Divis is a common implementation choice when starting with Indiveo. A logical thought and also perfectly feasible. The MDL department of the OLVG has chosen to take a broader approach. They are also looking directly at the design of the information processes around information.

Looking beyond 'replacing folders'

For example, the OLVG wondered whether the information processes could be more efficient, whether they offer the information to patients at the right time and which communication channels fit the information process. Questions related to informed consent and recording are also important to consider, and how can you ensure that no one is forgotten? In this way, you look beyond just "replacing leaflets.

Indiveo linked to EPD (Epic) and questionnaires

In response to these questions, the MDL department of the OLVG integrated Indiveo within the electronic patient record (EPD) and linked it to medical content questionnaires. Through MijnOLVG, the questionnaire with Divi is offered digitally to the patient.

Fewer patients to hospital

As a result, fewer patients need to physically come to the hospital for an intake, and they can be informed and scheduled for their examination remotely. Because this entire process is also linked to placing an order in Epic, no one has to think about what information these patients should receive. This saves time for both patient and caregiver and allows for more efficient work!

Positive feedback from patients

That this beautiful result also has a positive influence on patients is well demonstrated by the feedback they leave behind. The procedure is perceived as very pleasant:
