Low literacy among people in debt blocks debt resolution
Research among clients of Syncasso and Kredietbank Nederland shows that 50% of people in debt have difficulty reading and writing. Yet debt relief workers often communicate in writing using difficult words to convey important information. Lack of text comprehension causes stress and leads to mistakes and missed opportunities. Thus, it forms a blockade to debt resolution. It can be done differently!
In healthcare, animations make information understandable
Like debt counseling, healthcare involves conveying complex information to patients. However, here much of this information is made understandable with animated videos. The patient can watch these at leisure before surgery or after a diagnosis has been made, for example. In this way, the patient knows exactly where you stand and can ask more specific questions of the doctor. This gives patients peace of mind and saves the doctor time.

Using animations in multiple languages, we make debt relief understandable
Together with social workers from the social domain, Purpose and Indiveo have developed short animations in Dutch, English, classical Arabic and Tigrinja, supported by visual instructions. We also call these Divi's. Because a Divi informs the client in an approachable way, it gives them more confidence, reduces their stress and makes them a better interlocutor. The Divi's developed in the pilot are now available to all municipalities and new Divi's are being developed.

Development with many municipalities reduces costs
Unique to Indiveo is the ability to develop comprehensible information together with multiple municipalities, thus sharing development costs. At the same time, cooperation does not mean uniformity, because with Indiveo each organization informs in its own style, tone of voice and with specific own information. In doing so, each organization receives a personalized platform. Through this platform it is possible to customize the Divis and view statistics. To make use of this, it is possible to take out a subscription for the platform.
