Integration of Indiveo into Chipsoft HiX: satisfied patients and less work for healthcare providers

Saxenburgh is one of the first hospitals to optimally integrate Indiveo information into Chipsoft HiX. Roy Stokvis and Remon Koehorst of Saxenburgh Medical Center, together with the endoscopy department, have set this up practically and smoothly with wonderful results for patients and caregivers.

Integration with Chipsoft HiX

Saxenburgh Medical Center is one of the hospitals using Indiveo's understandable animations (Divis) to inform patients about this study. Roy Stokvis, clinical informaticist at Saxenburgh MC is enthusiastic about using Indiveo. 'Because we were able to easily integrate the Divi's into Chipsoft, we have developed a complete digital workflow This is a very efficient way of working for patients, for healthcare providers and for the planners,' Roy says. 'The result of integrating Indiveo into HiX is that 70% of patients no longer have to physically come to the outpatient clinic prior to the examination. Patients are very satisfied. They are fully digitally screened and scheduled.'

Result 

Remon Koehorst integrated the ready-to-use endoscopy Divis that are available for rent to every hospital into HiX, Saxenburgh MC's Electronic Patient Record. Remon is a functional administrator and explains. 'When a patient gets a scopy, the Divis are automatically prepared from the EPD in the patient portal (MijnSaxenburgh).

Patients then view the information at home through the portal and complete a standardized questionnaire. The results of these questionnaires are then automatically displayed in a dashboard to the schedulers. This method allows 48% of patients to be scheduled directly for their examination. Other patients receive a telephone consultation and, in some cases, a physical appointment. The physical consultation hour is thus largely eliminated'.
