About this Divi

Some procedures require the patient to be put under general anesthesia, or narcosis. General anesthesia is a form of anesthesia in which the patient loses consciousness. The patient is put to sleep and therefore does not receive pain and other stress stimuli.

Before a patient is put under general anesthesia, several preparations are made. This Divi uses various images to explain what preparation for anesthesia looks like. In addition, an animation explains how anesthesia works. Finally, the Divi also focuses on the preparation and aftercare of general anesthesia.
