About this Divi

A bone scan, or skeletal scintigraphy, can detect abnormalities in the bones and joints. By injecting a small amount of radioactive liquid, which is absorbed by the bones, into the blood, the bones and joints can be properly imaged by a special camera.

This Divi tells you more about the examination, preparation and what happens after the examination is over.
