About this Divi
When a patient has a narrowing, adhesions or kidney stone in the ureter, urine may not flow properly to the bladder. A double J catheter is a catheter that can be placed in the ureter between the kidney and bladder. The urine can then flow properly again through and along the catheter from the kidney to the bladder.
In this Divi, patients see in an animation how the double J catheter is placed. Patients are also explained about preparation, aftercare and risks.
