An Endo Bronchial Ultra Sound (EBUS) is a combination of bronchoscopy (endoscopy) and ultrasound. Using the ultrasound device on the scope, the doctor can get information about tissue deeper down. Also, during the examination, the doctor can take tissue through a puncture for additional testing.
