An EUS is a combination of endoscopy (in the stomach, intestine or near the liver) and ultrasound. It allows the doctor to view the area on the outside of the organs with ultrasound and to take tissue through a puncture for additional examination.

In this Divi, the patient is given information about the preparation, aftercare and risks of the EUS examination. Various images are used to explain what the examination entails. This makes the patient well prepared for the examination.
