About this Divi

Orthostasis, or orthostatic hypotension, is a sudden drop in blood pressure that occurs within 3 minutes when standing up quickly. This sudden drop in blood pressure is caused by the system that regulates blood pressure not working properly. As a result, patients become dizzy, lightheaded, or may fall (faint).

In this Divi, patients are explained what orthostasis is. In addition, patients are given tips in the Divi on how to make sure they are less likely to get dizzy.
