About this Divi

On the inside of the wrist is a tunnel through which a nerve and tendons run, called the carpal tunnel. When it is too narrow, the nerve becomes pinched. This is called carpal tunnel syndrome. As a result, patients may experience such things as pain, tingling or loss of strength in their fingers and hand.

In some cases, surgery is needed to correct these symptoms. During surgery, the surgeon makes more room for the nerve in the hand. In this Divi, the patient is explained about the surgery and how to prepare for it. In addition, the patient is also given information about aftercare and the risks of the surgery.
